The article analyzes the features of establishment Russian philosophy as an academic discipline at Leningrad-Petersburg University. In this regard, work deals with methodological principles and guidelines for courses in history by professors P. F. Nikandrov A. Galaktionov, ideological philosophical foundations their study guides, novelty approach to studying philosophy.
